The International Conference on Bacterial Blight of Rice (ICBB) is held every 3 years, previously organized in Tsukuba (Japan) in 2004, Nanning (China) in 2007), Seoul, (Korea) in 2010, Hyderabad (India) in 2013 and the Philippines in 2016. In 2019, the Cuu Long Delta Rice Research Institute (CLRRI) hosted "The 6th International Conference on Bacterial Blight of Rice (ICBB6)" in Can Tho city, Vietnam. The conference took place from August 19 to August 21, 2019.Welcoming international exchange students for the 2019-2020 academic year at Vietnam National University of Agriculture
