Specifically, this agreement would promote activities in the fields of student exchange, scientific research cooperation, development and exchange of training programs. The two universities also agreed to regularly organize symposiums and scientific conferences, exchange information and cooperate in other fields as well. Notably, the proposal of the "Open Campus" project to strengthen the cooperation relationship between CNU and VNUA in training and research would be further discussed and completed by the two universities after the signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement and CNU would submit the project proposal to the Korean Government for support.

Speaking at the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Lan, VNUA’s President, affirmed that the signing of the cooperation agreement was an important milestone in the implementation of specific cooperation programs in the coming time between the two universities. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Lan hoped that, based on the signed cooperation agreement, the two universities would strengthen their coordination comprehensively to promote the improvement of the quality of training and scientific research, etc.; and the detailed terms would be discussed early and effectively implemented.

On the side of Chungnam National University, President Lee Jin Sook highly appreciated the relationship between the two universities during the past time and wished to continue to expand the connection and cooperation through particular activities. Dr. Lee Jin Sook believed that through the ceremony, the cooperation relationship between CNU and VNUA would become stronger and bring more practical results to the two universities in the coming years.

The signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement between VNUA and Chungnam National University took place successfully. The two universities agreed to actively exchange information, jointly develop and implement activities within the framework of the cooperation agreement.
